24 Hours in Palm Beach, Florida

A few months ago, a friend and I popped over to Palm Beach, Florida for a little work and play. It was my first time visiting, and we had the very best time! We stayed at the White Elephant hotel which was perfection in every way. More on this later! No matter how much time you’ve got, making a trip to Palm Beach is so worth it. The atmosphere is all the best things about Old Florida: warm weather all year round, historical landmarks, beautiful beaches and extravagant hotels + restaurants. It was like living inside of an Amanda Lindroth store. Here’s all that we did!

Visiting Palm Beach, Florida

Where To Stay

Like I mentioned, we stayed in the beautiful White Elephant Palm Beach (a sister hotel to the one in Nantucket). I’m a smidge of a hotel snob, and I was truly blown away by the service and style of this hotel. From the moment you walk in, it’s luxurious and so fun. We were greeted by the sweetest front desk attendants who offered champagne and gave us a tour of all of the amenities. From the coastal twist on their classic interior design, the thoughtful cocktail hour, the stunning pool and hang out spots, I almost wanted to cancel dinner and stay in the rest of the evening!

The bedrooms came with everything you’d want and need. It’s fun to see how hotels incorporate their branding, and the White Elephant knocked it out of the park. From monogrammed linens and towels to the turndown service while we were out that was complete with branded robes, slippers and chocolates, there was so much intentional detail that just makes you feel fancy. I could go on about this, but you’ll just have to go visit to see the rest!

Above all, it was the hospitality of the staff that I loved the most. Everyone was happy to accommodate each guest, went above and beyond in every way, and was overall just pleasant to be around. There’s a free valet service included in your stay that took us to dinner, and our driver was so kind. At the end of the day, it’s the people who are the ones that make a hotel feel comfortable and relaxing.

Good Eats

We fit in as much as we could while we were here, and I can’t wait to go back to add to this list of great restaurants!

Bucan was where we ate for dinner and it was absolutely fabulous. Their menu is small to medium plates of such great food, we enjoyed everything we got. The cocktails were also some of the best I’ve ever had. And for dessert, chocolate chip cookies that we took back to the hotel for a late night snack.

Hive Bakery and Cafe in West Palm was probably my favorite. This brunch spot had a full farm to table menu and the most adorable vibe. As you can tell by the photos, the design was so beautiful. I wanted to have pillows made out of their booth fabric!

I got the Sourdough scramble, a yummy cup of coffee, and a side of fruit. We ended up not getting any sweets to go, but I will be coming back for their bakery soon!

After you visit Hive, bop next-door to their Hive Home and Garden store that is an endless home decor store that will leave you feeling inspired. They have designers to chat with about your own interior projects, and the best furniture and decor to shop.

Cocktails

Henry’s is right around the corner from the White Elephant. I hadn’t ordered an Aperol Spritz since our trip to Italy and it was so yummy to have it again! Again, the vibe of this place is just like everything else in Palm Beach: upscale, coastal, relaxing. A must visit. You an also get a reservation for lunch or dinner here!

Have a glass of something at the White Elephant! You really can’t beat the atmosphere.

Shopping!

Stop in Matilda’s on the way to Palm Beach located in Stuart, about 30 minutes outside of the PB. It’s in the cutest little town with so many places to eat and shop!

We had the best time and I can’t wait to visit Palm Beach again!
