It’s always such a pleasure when I get to work with companies that I use so frequently and love so much. LAKE Pajamas has been a long time favorite of mine, and they are always impressing me by how many new collections they drop that somehow get better than the last. I’ve gotten many friends and family members hooked on their clothes!
This summer in particular, their collections have been so classic with scalloped sleep dresses and seersucker sets. As we prepare for baby boy to get here in September, I’m beyond grateful to have some elevated pajamas that still will make me feel a little pulled together during those late night feedings and early days at home. Keep reading for more info on their maternity pajamas and how to order your size.
I’ve gotten a ton of questions about how to go about ordering the correct size. For most if not all of their pajamas, it’s recommended that you wash cold and hang dry. I am someone that eventually ends up throwing all pajamas into the dryer, so because of this I do size up for most LAKE items- especially their Pima cotton lines. Normally I take a small, but in LAKE I usually size up one to a medium.
For maternity sizing, take your normal size whether in Pima Cotton or otherwise! I LOVE all of their nursing friendly styles, and plan on taking at least one pair with a robe with me to the hospital.
Robes:
If you’re ordering a robe, I recommend ordering one size up for their Pima cotton and taking your normal size for the terry cloth robes or the thicker robes. Terry cloth robes can be a little too oversized if you size up!
Clothing:
As far as clothing, this is where I order my normal sizes. I’m usually better about hanging my day clothes up to dry… lol. Some of my favorite clothing items are their Caftans and sweaters! Keep an eye out for their launches coming later this summer and early Fall.
