I still feel a little emotional about leaving the South and all our people—the place we brought Shep home in, our routines, our comforts—it’s bittersweet. But living in NYC is something I’ve always dreamed about, and I’m thrilled for the change and opportunity for John and me. Getting to do it with our sweet baby Shep is truly going to be such an adventure that we’ll love to talk about as he gets older.
