Everything You Need for an Elevated Valentine’s Day

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day a little different this year, as February 14th is the day we move from New York City to Charleston! (More details here) But I always love to celebrate this darling holiday, and pulled together some great options for home decor & style that are elevated and easy.

For The Home

I tend to keep holiday decorating minimal throughout the year, aside from Christmas of course! Instead, I gravitate toward pieces that feel classic, understated, and celebratory without being overly themed.  I love having items I pull out year after year! These are simple, timeless pieces that add a subtle Valentine’s Day touch while still fitting into everyday home decor.

For The Kids

Children make truly everything sweeter. These little gifts, clothes and decorations for kids are so fun to pull out every year! I have a full list of Valentine’s Day Basket Gifts for babies + toddlers, which you can find here.

What To Wear

Whether you’re staying in pajamas all morning, wrangling kids at the park, or going out to a nice dinner, here are some great options for Valentine’s Day outfits! Especially love the sweaters this year that are so cute to throw over your shoulders.

A Valentine’s Day Menu

One of the most fun parts of any holiday is the food! We do a few repeat traditions like chocolate strawberries and a glass of champagne, but here are some elevated ideas to make your Valentine’s Day special for your family, your partner, or your Galentine’s.
